DELTA SIGMA FINANCE SOCIETY @ UCLA

One of the newest clubs on campus, the DSF Society is a unique club that focuses on Financial Economics and Quantitative Finance. This club wants to steer away from the more conventional Investment Banking and Stock Picking Clubs and looks towards the more esoteric fields of Financial Derivatives and Fixed Income Securities.

WHAT IS THIS CLUB?

UCLA’s Delta Sigma Finance Society is a multidisciplinary club created by undergraduate students intended to support students in the quantitative areas of financial economics, financial markets, and international finance. These are interdisciplinary areas at the intersection of economics, finance, mathematics, and data analytics, and this organization is for students interested in pursuing careers in bonds and fixed income securities, financial derivatives, asset management, foreign exchange instruments, and financial risk management. This is also a place for students to network with other like-minded individuals, and to discuss and learn from speakers about real-world uses of the economic principles learned in class.
